The grandson of a San Francisco builder, Brian Trainor began his career in construction in the San Francisco Bay Area in the late 70's. He started out framing and hanging drywall, mentored by close friend, Larry Maroney. A natural leader who inspired collaboration, Brian quickly worked his way up to foreman, estimator, and then to project manager. By the mid 80’s, he was VP of a $45 million dollar West Coast construction company and had developed business relationships and friendships that endure today.

In 2001, he and his wife, Suzanne, an accomplished business executive and M.B.A., founded Trainor Commercial Construction, Inc.  Within the first month, Larry Maroney and Andy Matthews joined TCCI, bringing their expertise as superintendents to the field.  Within a year, the team would be joined by Marty Schumann, a senior contract manager who worked with Brian for the previous 15 years. In 2004, John Taylor moved from the client side, bringing invaluable perspective, insight, and marketing skills to TCCI.

Today, Trainor Commercial Construction, Inc. is a thriving national company with almost 50 employees.   Inspired collaboration continues to be the foundation for our success.
